A girl wakes up from her comfy bed, have a tasty breakfast in which she has to pick between sureal, eggs, toast & every kind of cheese, unless she is on a diet. Then maybe takes a warm shower, after that, she decides if she is going to hit the mall, go to the gym or just grab her cell phone & laptop & go to work. Before that she makes sure she dresses her best & it takes her some time to pick an outfit of the many styles & brands she owns.
However, in some other part in the universe a man wakes up from a bed that hurts his back all night, he has breakfast which is a small piece of bread, if he finds it,& then goes to work coz he has no other place to go. He spends 12 hours in a hard job, that he hates then goes home to his wife & starving children. The wife serves the food, it is maccaronni but not like the ones we eat. Each kid has a very small amount of food that after lunch they are still starving, but they shouldn't wait for dinner coz they can't afford more than 2 meals.
This girl may pass this poor man in the street & holds her purse close or look at him as if he is gross, simply because his cloth are torn & he doesn't smell his best. Imagine how this poor man feels every time he passes by a richer kid & they hold their purse or mobile closer. He probably thinks "Do I really look that scary?" or maybe he won't notice because he is already thinking of how his youngest slept after crying his eyes out last night coz he was starving. Imagine this man is your father? Well, this is how his kids feel
This man maybe cleaning the floors in a restaurant or the bathrooms. Everyday he is surrounded by rich people complain about their parents coz they don't wanna change them their cars. He sees how much people pay in one meal & how they eat till they are stuffed & he thinks of his 4 year old who has never seen meat in his life. He hear people talking about buying houses with millions of pounds while all what he wants is to feed his kids & put them in schools. He looks at men with suits & girls with nice cloth & his heart screams with hope that one day his kids would live half this good life.
He is a man who doesn't want anything for himself except the welfare of his kids. He is a parent like every parent wants a better life for his kids. He maybe subjected to expensive things that he could steal but he wants to follow God's rules coz he still has Faith. He could be a man who got fired form his job yet he goes to the mosque everyday to pray & says "God, I will never give up on your mercy". While a millionaire may lose 200,000 & says "why does God hate me?"
If we asked this man what is his dream he would say, I want my kids to sleep full & warm. Simple dreams for a simple man. If we asked ourselves what do we want, we would get beside our real dreams at least a new car or a new phone or this cool watch. There is a real family that eats nothing but macaroni & when they asked the child what he wished to eat he said "macaroni", he just wants to eat it until he is full.
How life from a Poor’s man eyes would be? It surprises me the simplicity of their dreams & what they want. It hurts me the feeling he gets from some snob rich kids. I wander how he feels around those who have money. Does he envy them? Does he dream to be like them one day? Or all what he wants is that some heart can listen to his broken one & to his children's screams? Or maybe he doesn't notice them because he is in to his job to finish it, to go home fast to fix the roof over his family before it falls & kills them? What astonishes me the most is how & why such a poor man, who may be living in grave yard, wakes up everyday? What is it that he looks for? Apparently God grants a man like that with a lot of faith to keep him going.
I just wrote this topic so we won't let trivial & materialistic things break our faith.
